Beaches: absolutely top-notch! We’ve been to a number of Caribbean locations and Provo is currently in the lead for its beaches. We visited Leeward Beach, Grace Bay, Coral Gardens, Smith’s Reef, and Sopadilla Beach. Snorkeling was awesome with plenty of turtles. Sopadilla and Taylor Bay are to die for if you like placid, turquoise waters.

Excursions: we took a snorkel and iguana island tour with Caribbean Cruisin’ which was fantastic with fun tour guides. We also did the sunset sail on Lady Grace which was great but overpriced. I recommend getting out on the water at least once – it’s lovely.

Provo is pretty spectacular. It’s a small island so you can enjoy most of the recommended activities and beaches without long drives. The downtown shopping center is quaint and easy to get around with plenty of food and shopping options. The locals we met were delightful. We will return!
