DECR Announces Increased Beach Vending Committee Meetings Ahead of License Renewal Period

The Department of Environment and Coastal Resources (DECR) wishes to inform the public of an increase in Beach Vending Committee meetings as part of its preparation for the upcoming license renewal period in June 2025.

To support a more efficient and timely review process, the committee will now meet twice monthly. This adjustment is intended to streamline the review of new applications, amendments, and renewals for beach vending licenses.

Meetings are scheduled for the following dates:

  • Wednesday, 16 April 2025
  • Wednesday, 30 April 2025
  • Wednesday, 14 May 2025
  • Wednesday, 28 May 2025
  • Wednesday, 11 June 2025
  • Wednesday, 25 June 2025
  • Wednesday, 9 July 2025  
  • Wednesday, 23 July 2025

The next meeting will take place on Wednesday, 16 April 2025, at 10:00 AM.

Applicants planning to:

  • Start a new beach vending business,
  • Add new activities to an existing license,
  • Request a change of business location,
  • Or make any other modifications to their current license,

are advised to submit completed application forms and all supporting documents to the DECR offices in Providenciales or Grand Turk, or via email to decr@gov.tc.

Please note: Incomplete applications will not be accepted by the Department for review by the committee.

We encourage all applicants to submit their documents at least five (5) advances of the meeting dates to ensure timely processing.
