New Date for the International Men’s Day Awards Ceremony

The Department of Gender Affairs within the Ministry of Home Affairs, Religious Affairs, and Transportation wishes to inform the general public that the Second International Men’s Day Awards Ceremony has been rescheduled for Saturday, 29 November 2025, at 6:30 p.m. The venue will be announced at a later date.

International Men’s Day, observed globally on 19 November each year, recognizes and celebrates the positive contributions of men to society, their families, and communities, while also highlighting the issues affecting men and boys.

This year’s theme, “Men and Boys: Anchored and Driven by Purpose,” is a compelling call to action that urges us to reflect on what it means to live with direction and integrity in today’s world. Being anchored provides stability, but being driven by purpose is what fuels ambition, sharpens focus, and transforms challenges into opportunities.

The Department of Gender Affairs continues to celebrate and acknowledge the outstanding contributions of men across the Turks and Caicos Islands, recognising their vital roles in the nation’s economic, social, and cultural development.

In preparation for the upcoming ceremony, the nomination portal has been reopened and will remain open until midnight on Sunday, 16 November 2025. Voting will begin immediately after the nomination period closes and will continue until Tuesday, 25 November 2025.

Further updates, including the announcement of the venue, will be shared on the Department’s official Facebook page. The public is encouraged to stay connected for the latest information.

As we celebrate International Men’s Day, the Department invites everyone to honour the men and boys who exemplify purpose, strength, and integrity in their everyday lives.

“The world needs men and boys who know who they are, what they stand for, and where they are going anchored and driven by purpose.”
