The Ministry of Health and Human Services, through its Health Promotion and Advocacy Unit, is pleased to announce the launch of a voluntary health screening program for all civil servants across the Turks and Caicos Islands, starting September 2025.
This initiative demonstrates the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of the public service workforce. Civil servants will have access to free, confidential health screenings, along with on-site health counselling and trusted health information to support healthier lifestyle choices.

Screenings will include:
- Blood Pressure
- Blood Glucose
- Blood Cholesterol
- HIV
- Syphilis
- Hepatitis B
- Body Weight
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
Why participate?
Early detection is one of the most powerful tools in preventing serious illness. These quick and painless checks can help identify health risks before symptoms appear—giving individuals the chance to take action early. With the added benefit of counselling and educational resources, participants can better understand their results and make informed health decisions.
Minister of Health and Human Services, Hon. Kyle Knowles, stated, “Our civil servants are the backbone of our nation’s progress. By providing accessible health screenings, we are not only investing in their well-being but also strengthening the services they provide to the public. Early detection and prevention are key to healthier, longer lives—and we are committed to ensuring every civil servant has that opportunity.”
Location & Schedule
Screening dates and locations will be shared directly with departments in the coming weeks.
No appointment is required — just drop in during the screening period and take a proactive step toward better health.
