The Department of Gender Affairs within the Ministry of Home Affairs, Religious Affairs and Transportation announces the successful completion of the second annual “Love on Me” Girls Empowerment Seminar, held across multiple locations in the Turks and Caicos Islands. This impactful two-day seminar aimed to empower young girls and provide them with the tools and resources to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and foster a positive self-image.

This impactful initiative was conducted over two weeks, with sessions taking place in diverse locations across the Turks and Caicos Islands. From South Caicos at the Community Center (July 4), to Grand Turk at the HJ Robinson High School (July 7-8), to North Caicos at the Adelaide Omeler Primary School (July 14-15), and finally in Providenciales at the Edward Garland Youth Center (July 17-18).
