On Thursday, 7th August 2025, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service Helicopter and crew arrived in TCI to bolster tactical operations, support border security and enhance TCI’s aerial surveillance capabilities. We are grateful to Her Excellency the Governor Jane Owen, the Government of the Cayman Islands and the Commissioner of the RCIPS for their collaborative support.
The request for regional support was made to the Cayman Islands as an action agreed during National Security Council (NSC) meeting on Tuesday, 29th July. The deployment, which is funded by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, supports our multi-agency efforts to tackle key threats, ensure public safety and protect our borders.
